The City Construction and properties Awards is an annual event and that recognize and award all stakeholders who have immensely contributed to the Built Environment to facilitate the infrastructural development of the economy of this great nation.
Corporate bodies participating in the Awards have the opportunity of being on a platform through which they can communicate and demonstrate the value which is placed on the significant contributions of the creative minds that have helped built our country.
The Award show undoubtedly serve as an inspiration to the entire building,
construction and properties industry since it will become the barometer by which industry players or stakeholders will measure performance and success.

Call For Entries
Under the auspices of the Ministry of Works and Housing, in collboration with the Ghana Institute of Architects (GIA), Ghana Intitution of Engineering (GhIE) & Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GIS) wishes to announce to the general public that the date for the CCP Awards has been rescheduled to Friday 4th October, 2019. This is as a result of the enormous interest expressed in the awards and the need for the Adjudication Panel to be given adequate time to vet the entries submitted. The CCPAwards is to recognize & celebrate Ghanaian creativity and excellence in the building industry
Awards will be competed for in the following categories:

2. Commercial Building Award (Office)
3. Commercial Building Award (Retail)
4. Interior Design Award
5. Hospitality Facility Award
6. Construction Firm of the Year (Medium)
7. Construction Firm of the Year (Large)
8. Institutional Development (Educational Facility)
9. Institutional Development (Health Facility)
10. Residential Development (Single Family)
11. Residential Development (Apartments)
12. Residential Development (Townhouses)
13. Rural and Small Town Development Award
14. Best-Maintained Facility
Entry format
- Four (4) A2 sheets maximum containing relevant drawings ; but MUST include floor plan(s), at least ONE section and at least TWO elevations to a suitable scale and clearly annotated
- Rendered 3D drawings
- A short four (4) page design report indicating the client, the project team, design concept,
contract sum and construction period,
challenges peculiar to the project and how they were addressed; and the reasons why the
project is worthy of an award
- Electronic copy of all the above
All entries are to be submitted to the Secretariat of the Ghana Institute of Architects at No. 3, Abdou Diouf Road, Ridge (next to the ARB Apex Bank) by 4.00pm on Monday 15th July, 2019
